We currently have these fabrics in stock though some are in limited supply. We use 100% preshrunk cotton quilting grade material.
If you have fabric that you would like turned into a mask drop us a line. You will need a piece that measures 20cm by 26cm.

Elastics
We offer a choice of 3mm (recommended) and 5mm elastics. Elastics are not stitched into our masks, this means they can be replaced if they wear out or you want to try alternative options like fabric ties.We make our masks with ear ties, we find them comfortable to wear on a shopping trip but extended wear can be uncomfortable.On request we can make masks with elastic around the head which puts less strain in the wearers ears but is more fiddly to put on.
Cord Locks
Our 3mm elastics come with cord locks to simplify fitting the mask, no more tying and untying knots to get that perfect fit.
Nose Strips
Nose strips can help seal the area around the nose, if you wear glasses this can be a huge benefit as it will help minimize fogging.The downside to nose strips is that they make your mask a little more difficult to wash, can damage the fabric from inside and will eventually wear out (remember you will be washing your mask daily).If you keep your mask in your pocket you will have to adjust the nose strip before every wearing.
Caring for your new face mask
Wash with your regular laundry using hot water, then tumble dry it in the dryer set to high heat.
Or hand wash your mask using hot soapy water. Scrub the mask then soak for 30 minutes before rinsing. Air or tumble dry.
Please remember these are NOT medical grade masks. They do not provide protection against diseases or viruses and are not intended to treat, cure or prevent diseases or viruses.
